Payments over the life of the lease are designed to cover the cost of the asset and return.

Full ownership remains with the Lessor (leasing company) until rentals have been paid or lease contract bought out by lessee (client), while the asset is in the possession of the lessee.

The lessee has the option to purchase the asset at the end or during the lease period.
